Hey there! Well, I’ve been thinking about this paid subscription and what would give you your $5’s worth. I have several ideas:
One thing I’d like to do is something like an online political book club once a month where readers can participate, just watch, or avoid like the plague. 😁
I’m working on creating a political game with the Republican leaders as the butt of the joke. And I’ll talk about it once a week
People have wondered about a number of subjects, and I haven’t had time to address them. So I’m going to have a Q & A session. A lot of people have questions about political reporting. I’ll choose three each week. This is one example:
Q: How did you become a political journalist?
A: I studied print, radio, and television journalism in school. Then, I got a secondary degree to teach English and journalism. Throughout my career I have always been involved in some sort of writing, many different kinds in many different industries.
Then, I acquired a disability (I figure I was a really. bad person in a previiou life. 😁) I had applied to law school but couldn’t after that. But I heard about a program to become a Legislative Advocate for people with disabilities. That took me to Washington D.C. where I met with Senator Ted Kennedy’s staff involved in healthcare problems.
I worked on Governor/Dr. Howard Dean’s presidential campaign and was in the room when he made his infamous yell. I also worked on Senator/Secretary John Kerry’s presidential campaign and President Barack Obama’s campaign. Coincidentally,
I was at a TV film when President Lyndon Johnson announced his retirement and working at the switchboard of an upper-scale hotel when I received a bomb threat against the visiting President Gerald Ford and met his Secret Service people.
Leave a Question Here in the Comment Section:
That’s a pretty good beginning. Hope to see you soon!
