Counsel Pat Cipollone In White House Jan. 6 To Testify Before House Select Committee
GLORIA CHRISTIE REPORTS
BREAKING NEWS:
Georgia’s Atlanta District Attorney (DA) Fani Willis may subpoena Donald Trump.
The Atlanta DA subpoenaed Senator Lindsey Graham but claimed he does not take the Atlanta case seriously enough.
The Highland Park mass shooter confessed voluntarily to 7 counts of murder. He went to another public event in Wisconsin after the massacre. The 2nd attack wasn’t planned, so he changed his mind and returned home.
Representative Liz Cheney (R-WY) ended the last House January 6 Select Committee by calling on the former White House counsel to testify. It took several days to shame him into testifying after a young aide appeared before the Committee. But now a prime set of eyes on Trump on January 6 will make all the difference.

The January 6 Committee considers Pat Cipollone “a missing link,” NBC News reported.
‘Cipollone, considered a critical witness whose testimony lawmakers have suggested is a missing link, previously met with committee investigators in April for an informal interview.’
The former counsel to the presidency, not to Trump, has agreed to meet with the January 6 Committee behind closed doors. However, he did agree to be videotaped and transcribed. Cipollone received his subpoena after the former right-hand aide to then-chief of staff Mark Meadows, Cassidy Hutchinson uttered traumatic testimony, AXIOS reported.
The counsel to the White House was pivotal in the Select Committee’s investigation. It seemed that Cipollone made a number of efforts to keep the ex-president from attacking our nation’s symbol of freedom, the Capitol building, but failed,
Then Hutchinson testified that he told them after the first of that year Trump and his aides would face “every crime imaginable’ should the former president lead “his people” in the failed coup.
Second, she said that during the actual attack Cipollone insisted on speaking to Trump just as the mob chanted “Hang [Vice President] Mike Pence! Hang Mike Pence:”
Meadows was sitting on his sofa scrolling through his phone at the same time, and he told the counselor:
‘[Trump] doesn't want to do anything. [And he] thinks Mike deserves it.’
The Committee extended Cipollone’s subpoena through Friday. He talked to the January 6 Committee informally, but it was neither recorded nor transcribed. His next testimony will be behind closed doors, but it will definitely be taped and transcribed this time.
