Hey there. Thanks for stopping by. Have you noticed that every time we Americans finally get our legislators to finally pass something, we get pounded with some sort of catastrophe that comes along?
The magnificent House January 6 Select Committee keeps breaking through the trauma. Then 19 babies just 10-year-old died at the hand of an 18-year-old in a terrible slow-motion suicide. The weapon so vicious it tore our little ones into pieces not big enough to identify.
For the first time in 30 years, our legislators passed a law with far too few limits on guns, but it was a start. Then, the conservative-heavy Supreme Court overturned a decades-old gun law, causing New York’s mayor to lash out at the injustice. Then SCOTUS turned around the next day and overturned Roe v. Wade.
I watched each of their nomination hearings and every one of the conservatives lied during their testimony They weasel-worded around but knew they left the impression they supported Stare Decisis, that they supported settled law. But in truth, they did not. I call that a lie if Sam Alito has to go back centuries to find something to justify his lie. Something from the same time women were being tried as witches.
Clarence Thomas warns he will banish contraception, gay marriage, and more. But not bi-racial marriage nor the separate-but-unequal that erupted out of the same Constitution rule. I wonder why?
They just killed themselves. The awe that surrounded that magnificent building evaporated. They voted for their political party, their religion, and imposed that upon all of us.
But out of this, women & men will come to vote their beliefs. It is up to us. We American women are a strong persistent bunch.

Trump Suffers A Sunday Sad Over Jan 6 Hearing Evidence
Trump hinted today at a “maybe” run in 2024 and referred to the House January 6 Select Committee Vice-Chair Liz Cheney as “not very attractive.” Truly, he should look in his own mirror before he hands out such petty opinions.
‘LAST WEEK, THE VERY UNSELECT COMMITTEE WITH ITS RADICAL DEMOCRATS AND LIZ CHENEY (WHO IS NOT VERY ATTRACTIVE!!), CONTINUED THE WITCH HUNT. SATURDAY NIGHT, WE WERE IN ILLINOIS, WHERE MAGA REP. MARY MILLER SPOKE OF THE GREAT WHITE LIFE FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE IN 2022 (AND MAYBE 2024!!). WHICH IS MUCH MORE IMPORTANT THAN A TELEVISION SIDESHOW.’

The Donald Trump self-pity party is getting old. He does not appear to have anything new to campaign on these days. Worse, the old drama queen is fast losing his appeal among his top donors.

Representative Liz Cheney (R-WY) is just one of two Republicans sitting on the House’s January 6 Select Committee and serves as its vice-chair. She knew that by doing so, there was a good chance she would lose her seat. But the daughter of former vice president Dick Cheney has grit. And she is fighting for America’s very democracy.
Naturally, her polling has been way behind her opponent’s numbers especially given that she is quite busy in Washington D.C. Plus Donald Trump’s endorsement of her opponent did not help matters. However, she came up with an idea to help her, The New York Times reported.
‘Oath Keepers’ Seditious Conspiracy Probe Expanded By DOJ
The Oath Keepers are led by their founder Stewart Rhodes, who wears an eye patch he after accidentally discharging his own weapon. Federal prosecutors have now decided to charge him and eight members of his group with “seditious conspiracy.”
They also face additional charges, according to The Washington Post:
‘[THEY ARE CHARGED WITH INTERRUPTING] THE LAWFUL TRANSFER OF POWER TO PRESIDENT BIDEN IN ATTACKING THE U.S. CAPITOL ON JAN. 6, 2021.’
A member from Florida Jeremy Brown anticipates he will be charged with conspiracy. The former Special Forces soldier and failed Republican candidate for Congress joined the group to help ready them for “civil war.”
