Morning! Do you ever get frustrated when President Joe Biden and people in general say ‘just vote?’ Well, actually that is a given, but what about now? We only have 15 weeks to save America from the ex-president’s next hidden coup. I see good places to go on TV, but by the time I find a second pen, the first doesn’t write, the network has moved on and away from me forever. Oh, I know that I could do something on my remote to grab it, but by the time I remember how, it is gone-gone-gone.
But the best place I’ve seen came from one of The Lincoln Project’s mini-videos. For those of you who don’t know, this is a group of former Republicans who used to do the public relations for that party. Then, Trump came, and they left. Some of the most brilliant minds around.
The Lincoln Project had a link to a place called The Union. So who are these people and what can they do to help me? I’ll let them tell you:

We can’t save this country by waiting on miracles. Hope is not a strategy. That’s why we can’t wait for the Washington D.C. political committees to act. They don’t see the danger or know how to fight it. Americans have to band together and do the work ourselves.

Democrats Fly Past GOP In 2022 Polling After Roe Overturned
Democrats are suddenly shooting upward in the polls amidst an onslaught of fascist political moves from the GOP.
Highly regarded political strategist Simon Rosenberg, pulled together the latest polls to explain the transformation. He pulled out a stunning fact, that Donald Trump’s attempt to take the presidency involved “hundreds of GOP leaders and staff, including WH staff, senators, house members, the RNC,” and at least five state party leaders:
‘A REMINDER THAT THE CONSPIRACY TO OVERTURN THE 2020 ELECTION INVOLVES HUNDREDS OF GOP LEADERS AND STAFF, INCLUDING TOP WH STAFF, SENATORS, HOUSE MEMBERS, THE RNC AND STATE PARTY LEADERS IN AZ, MI, NV, PA, WI. SCALE OF THIS BETRAYAL HAS NO PRECEDENT IN US HISTORY.’
Pennsylvania Republicans Abandon GOP To Support Democrat Governor
In a surprise move, a collection of Pennsylvania’s Republican leaders jumped the Donald Trump ghost ship to endorse a Democrat for governor, Josh Shapiro.
Attorney General Shapiro proudly displayed the 10 members of the GOP. He has been getting mixed reviews. It definitely increased the AG’s “reach-across-the-aisle” candidacy, according to The Post-Gazette.
Chair of the Lawrence County Board of Commissioners and the only current official on the list, Morgan Boyd believed that his state had come to a decision point. Shapiro was “the only candidate with a vision, the experience, and the plan to bring it back:’
‘I THINK THERE’S ACTUALLY A LARGE NUMBER OF MODERATE REPUBLICANS ACROSS THE STATE RIGHT NOW WHO ARE CONSIDERING EITHER OPENLY SUPPORTING JOSH OR SILENTLY SUPPORTING HIM THROUGH THEIR VOTE. I WOULD ENCOURAGE THEM TO USE THEIR EXPERIENCES TO SEARCH WITHIN THEIR HEARTS AND MAKE THE DETERMINATION THEMSELVES THAT THEY FEEL IS BEST FOR THE COMMONWEALTH. I THINK THAT, BY AND LARGE, THEY’LL COME TO THE SAME CONCLUSION THAT I DID.’
FEC Puts Trump On Notice: ‘Your Political Reports’ Use Fake Numbers
The ex-president is once again in trouble over his finances. This time the problem is his Make America Great Again PAC. It seems that it “made several mistakes” when the Federal Election Committee (FEC) looked at its first-quarter 2022 report. Certainly, Donald Trump’s numbers people would not make simple calculation errors, would they?
When the FEC looked at the financial report, it revealed “discrepancies,” The Business Insider reported. The Insider received a copy of the FEC’s July 6 letter to the committee:
‘[IT SAW] DISCREPANCIES IN ITS REPORTED CASH ON HAND IN ADDITION TO CALCULATION ERRORS.’
Russian Prime Minister Gets Snubbed At G20 In Humiliating Fashion
The G20 foreign ministers met in Bali, but the atmosphere was quite cool inside. The foreign ministers of America, Canada, and the European Union (EU) walked out when the Russian minister Sergey Lavrov was just about to make his presentation. All to protest Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. And he returned the favor, according to The Daily Beast.
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken led the charge to forego the usual “family” photo. The G7 members joined him, the Japanese news service Kyodo reported. The host of Indonesia’s Summit, Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi, said they understood the undercurrent, according to Reuters.
Merrick Garland Goes After Operatives In Trump Fake Elector Scheme
The criminal investigations around Donald Trump’s multiple attempts to pull off a coup have taken off as Republicans who were involved in Trump’s alternate elector scheme will be handing documents off to the DOJ as early as this week.
The number of subpoenas flowing out of that department to each of the seven battleground states involved in the false elector scam has rapidly increased. Those subpoenas requested documents with a due date of July 8, according to CNN. The plan had been for participants in the con to undermine the Electoral College.
