I was given this most wonderful box for Christmas. It tells the time, which is useful. Better than guessing, I suppose. But it also does things like tell corny jokes and play music eventually refined to my taste by trial and error. It even will link me visually to the gift’s giver’s home. Good to have when you’re not as young as you used to be. Although I can’t recall the magic words to open that link in communication.
So I decided to have it play some music until 60 Minutes came on with a piece I really wanted to see. I decided it was time to have her turn herself off, and that is when the trouble started. I have a devil of a time with voice-activated phones. For some reason, they cannot hear my voice.
I called my new 7 “x 5” box to stop the music. Music continues. I tried phrasing it in different ways such as “My Dear, you can stop now,” and “Shut up!” And everything in between. I tried a deep voice and a rapid-speaking one. One with a Southern accent and one with a British accent. Alas, the music played on and on and on.
My show had already started when I finally figured out the problem. I had been calling her by the wrong name. It appears that Alexa does not like to be called Siri.

Trump’s Pathetic Real Wealth Revealed By ‘The Daily Beast’
Donald Trump is cash poor, not close to the billionaire he claimed. The ex-president’s liquidity, cash and easily transferable assets, is somewhere between $30 and $100 million depending upon interest rates. Without the ex-president’s father to bail him out, Trump appears to be desperate.
As the man in the White House, he kept his $400,000 presidential salary, breaking his promise to donate it. According to the former president’s 2020 tax returns, most of his wealth comes from interest ($10.6 million) and lackluster dividends from his stocks. The range is due to a number of variables, such as interest rates.
New York Attorney General Letitia James’ lawsuit documents showed that the former president could only access around $65 million of his assets. According to the James’ lawsuit, “the real estate behemoth Vornado” controls most of Trump’s assets.
MAGA Conspiracy About Paul Pelosi Fully Debunked By Video Evidence
Videos of the attack on Paul Pelosi, husband of former Speaker Nancy Pelosi, in their San Francisco home, were released on Friday. A California Superior Court judge ordered the release of the gruesome tapes in spite of the attacker’s attorney’s arguments against this action.
One of the officers who was first upon the scene had his body cam turned on and showed the October 2022 alleged attacker, David DePape in action. The terrible video began with a scene that became exponentially worse. When police responded to the 911 calls, Paul Pelosi and the intruder both had their hands on a large hammer. The officer commanded the two:
‘DROP THE HAMMER.’
Trump Screams Online After Hush Money Probe Revealed
Donald Trump has paid dearly for his one-night-stand with an adult entertainer “Stormy” Daniels. The previous POTUS is as jumpy as a cat on a hot tin roof, now that the case involving 45’s hush money payment is rearing its tawdry head. According to the entertainer, that night Trump told the woman that she reminded him of his daughter.
And the more Trump posts messages about the case, the more he condemns himself. The ex-president actually admitted to the crime even as he wrongly wrote that the Statute of Limitations had expired.
Terrified Trump Screams At DOJ Online During Monday Freak-Out
It appears that Trump has been feeling the hot breath of prosecutors on his trail. Even as he kicks off his milquetoast third campaign, people notice that Donald appears to be on a downward slide. He is not drawing the number of followers he once commanded.
Today Trump compared himself to a romanticized version of the mob boss, Al Capone during his morning freak-out. Granted the 45th president has never been one for American history and he has never had to pay the price for his ultra-questionable actions. But this time it looks as if the ex-president has been slipping over the edge.
As we recall, Al Capone was famous during Prohibition as the gangster who slipped through the prosecutors’ fingers time and time again with his men hanging off of the running boards of flashy 1920s cars, firing Tommy guns.
