Week in Review
It appears that California stole all of Kansas’ winter snow. No charges have been filed at this time. The evidence keeps disappearing. After a toxic train derailment in Ohio, “experts” now claim air and water are safe. In other news, they are selling shares of the Golden Gate Bridge. The “It’s Just Turbulence” phrase will shift to “Duck or Die!” A passenger was killed when a business plane at high altitude hit an extreme river of turbulence (True). And President Joe Biden urges “top quality” on U.S. exports. We wish him well in that endeavor.
In surprisingly good news:
‘Eli Lilly’s (LLY.N) decision to cut the list prices on its commonly prescribed insulins by 70% on Wednesday may help one aspect of the U.S. healthcare system look less like a carpet bazaar.’
MTG’s secret power is the ability to be highly annoying even when she is asleep.

Unfortunately, the news then took a negative trend:
‘Kansas legislators are considering a proposal that many disability rights advocates say would encourage employers to keep paying disabled workers less than the minimum wage, bucking a national trend.'
‘When it came to Ron DeSantis, the (the ex-president’s millions of) bots aggressively suggested that the Florida governor couldn’t beat Trump, but would be a great running mate.’
Stay safe and stay well, you & yours,
Gloria!
Biden Beats Trump By Over 10 Percent In Poll Of 2024...
New polling conducted among prospective voters both in Pennsylvania and nationwide has shown that President Joe Biden is far outpacing Donald Trump in the Keystone State and elsewhere. The Harrisburg-based Susquehanna Polling and Research’s survey was based upon a hypothetical 2024 rematch following the 2020 presidential election, as Penn Live reported.
The Susquehanna numbers showed that President Biden took 48 percent of the Pennsylvania participants, whereas the ex-president only won 41 percent of that group. Among national respondents, the current resident of the White House led with 52 percent. Donald Trump only took 39 percent on the national level — a massive chasm. Although presidential elections are obviously decided state by state rather than on the national level alone, that kind of lead among voters across the country would certainly suggest positive results for the Democrats in some key locales.
Bill To Block George Santos From Raking In Cash Moving Through...
Republicans have joined themselves to Democratic outrage in getting behind a new bill to corral Representative George Santos (R-NY), who has lied compulsively to the edge of the law and, maybe, beyond. Legislation under development could prevent the first-term legislator from various modes of profiting after he has served this term — particularly relevant considering he is under federal and local investigation.
The proposed legislation halts former members convicted of specific crimes from enjoying the profits of “book deals, speeches and other ways former lawmakers often cash in,” as outlets including Politico originally reported. With the campaign finance questions around Santos, charges could eventually happen, although the eventual course of the investigations he’s facing presently is obviously unclear.
Former Representative Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) brought a sense of honor and courage with him to the House which has allowed him to call out his alt-right coworkers when they drop into the realm of conspiracy theories. The ex-Congressman honed in on Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) for her latest string of whoppers.
Greene attacked Dominion Voting Systems for its $1.6 billion lawsuit targeting what is now Rupert Murdoch’s Fox Corporation and Fox News. The Georgia representative claimed the voting machine company was trying to “cancel” Fox News “out of existence” for purely political gain. The alt-right activist went after Dominion, suggesting the organization was “extremely wrong and unethical:”
Trump Launches Wednesday Tirade After Rupert Murdoch Distances Himself
Donald Trump has his knickers in a twist over media mogul Rupert Murdoch’s testimony in the Dominion voting machine company’s $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit. The owner of the Fox Corporation indicated he didn’t believe the big Trump lie — that the 2020 presidential election was stolen.
The ex-president claimed that there were “MASSIVE amounts of proof to the contrary.” It appeared that Murdoch’s words ripped right through Trump’s alternative reality. Instead of giving the Chairman of Fox a one-word insulting nickname, the previous resident of the White House let go, calling Murdoch and Fox hosts “MAGA Hating Globalist RINOS” on Truth Social.
