Lindsey Graham Subpoenaed To Appear Before Atlanta Grand Jury
This is one of my favorite pictures of Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) It came from a video of him leading the Judiciary Committee queries of Brett Kavanaugh during his nomination to the Supreme Court. All of the not-so-Grand Old Party members were performing for Donald Trump, but the South Carolina senator should remember that loyalty runs strictly one way — to the top of the ex-president’s unfortunately coiffed head.
Graham along with former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, attorney John Eastman, and a few others close to the flame that flared in the Oval Office are paying for it now. They have been subpoenaed for interfering in the Georgia 2020 presidential election. Georgia Attorney General Adam Raffensperger said that on July 12, they will appear in downtown Atlanta before a grand jury, according to The New York Times.
As POLITICO reported, Graham shouted at everyone but especially the Judiciary Committee Democrats, saying:
‘What you want to do is destroy this guy’s life, hold this seat open, and hope you win in 2020.’

Graham’s performance reminded us of a rabid ferret as he shouted, snarled, and pointed his finger at the Democratic senators on the panel. The issue was whether Judge Brett Kavanaugh had “sexually assaulted Christine Blasey Ford in 1982,“ after she gave an extremely credible testimony. It was Senator Graham’s assignment from the top of the party to make sure Kavanaugh made it onto SCOTUS.
The District Attorney for Fulton County, which includes Atlanta, has been Fani Willis. She has brought in an attorney whose specialty is racketeering, and the charges range from racketeering to conspiracy. In a phone call to Georgia’s Secretary of State Raffensperger, Graham tried to convince the AG he made the call to Raffensperger. But he did not cop to trying to get about 11,000 ballots for President Joe Biden tossed out — or about asking Raffensperger about the rules for tossing mail-in ballots. Interesting, that would be about what number it would take to accomplish a state takeover.
The House January 6 Select Committee investigation has been heating up. And the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has been delving into the 2020 Trump fake presidential electors scheme.
Trump criticized the Atlanta inquiry:
‘[T]he Democrats’ latest attempt to score political points by continuing their witch hunt against President Trump.’
Time will tell.
