THE NEWSLETTER FOR INTELLIGENT WOMEN & MEN
Happy Hanukkah to those who celebrate. And Happy Crazy, Frantic Week to the rest of us. Well, I have a bone to pick with the Post Office. It lost the lovely birthday card I sent out to someone who is very important to me. She likes real vs. virtual cards. I guess I’ll hand-deliver until President Biden boots the Trump-induced Post Master committed to tearing it out by the roots.
I am totally unprepared for Christmas. And now that snails beat me in races to the bathroom, I don’t know how I’m going to get ready. Ah well, it will work out.
I was totally startled when the previous president decided to sell virtual baseball card knock-offs. But I think I’ll do that, too. I always wanted to be an Annie Oakley doing her shooting tricks. Not at people, of course. Or Zorro, or Mr. Peabody, or Rocky or Bullwinkle. Then there was the pilot Sky King. But best of all I’m already Chester and Doc Holiday combined!
Wishing everyone peace, booster shots, and people who love them,
Gloria
