If Rep. Majorie Taylor Greene (R GA) thinks Trump’s new sidekick Laura Loomer is too extreme, then the ex-president’s bestie must really be off the deep end. And Trump is clinging fiercely to the sinking anchor Loomer is. Greene said via CNN:
Loomer’s “rhetoric and hateful tone (is concerning and a problem and) doesn’t represent MAGA as a whole…This is such an important election. I don’t think she has the experience or the right mentality to advise a very important presidential election.”
Laura Loomer
Wow. Loomer must be so close to the edge of extremism that she has fallen off. The former White House resident has been traveling on his private jet with her. On September 11, Trump took her on his private jet, the Trumpmobile) to the New York 9/11 celebration…which conspiracy theorist Loomer called “an inside job,” according to the BBC. The groupy said:
“It’s interesting how the media wants to, once again, falsely accuse me of being a racist. This is a woman who is on video cooking Indian food with Indian celebrities talking about how she likes cooking with curry.”
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY). spoke candidly about Trump, NBC reported :
“Donald Trump is a conspiracy theory-peddling racial arsonist and pathological liar,” he added. “And the fact that on Sept. 11, this sacred day, he would bring a 9/11 conspiracy theorist to participate in events during this solemn commemoration should shock the conscience of all decent Americans, and I believe that it does just that.”
Greene continued on CNN:
“I have concerns about her rhetoric and her hateful tone. To me, many of the comments that she makes and how she attacks Republicans like me, many other Republicans that are strong supporters of President Trump, I think they’re a huge problem. And that doesn’t represent MAGA as a whole.
“I just felt like it was time to call it out. I think it’s wrong. We’re not a party of identity politics (Republicans need to focus on policy), “not attacking people for their race.”
I hate to admit it, but Greene may have a point. Trump’s now infamous comment claiming now residents in an Ohio town were stealing residents’ cats and dogs. During the Harris-Trump debate, the ex-president claimed that he saw that information on TV. But now we know that was just another lie that sprang from the fetid mind of Ms. Loomer. Thankfully, the ABC hosts fact-checked the former president’s lie. CNN should watch that debate to learn how it is done
The more his staff tries to keep Loomer away from Trump, the closer he holds her. Frankly, I’m glad.
Stay well, my friends. COVID has risen its ugly head again.
